Hello! I'm Johan
and I am a 17-year old student currently studying IB (International Baccalaureate) in the Netherlands and I aspire to be a dentist. Outside of school, I am actively playing in high competition soccer and enjoying music by playing the guitar. Through my academic years, I have gained many skills and qualities that I preserve. Creating and leading a poster project promoting my school's ideal character profiles has taught me how to be a leader, hone my communication and organization skills. Coaching younger students and children with disabilities has taught me to have empathy, have patience, be a good communicator, have compassion and be encouraging. Problem solving is a quality that I have acquired over many years by actively participating in services, one of which being Tabitha House Building project where fellow team mates and I built houses for needy families in Cambodia.

Dentistry is a vocation that I have had a personal interest in for several years that developed through my interactions with my dentist and orthodontist who were extremely kind and outstanding. Watching them work in their vocation inspired me to become an excellent and caring dentist in the future.
This is my last year of studying in higher level Mathematics (Analytics and Approach), Biology and Chemistry. In standard level, English A (Literature), Dutch language and Economics. I am studying and focusing on achieving scores in the top band for my final exam to enable me to reach my goal of studying dentist at my first choice University.

I am attending the British School in the Netherlands to complete my last two years of I.B. [International Baccalaureate] Diploma programme. The courses I am taking are High level Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Standard level English Literature, Dutch language and Economics. I am representing the school in football and at MUN conferences. I am leading a school project which I founded that designs and publishes branding icons to reinforce messages on our school's code of ethics.
